Seguimos con los videos de nuestras fuentes de inspiración. Una es este duo japonés llamado Pink Lady que arrasó hace ya algunos años en Japón y despues en USA con exitos originales y con covers como este de Earth, Wind and Fire. Como veis, seguimos apostando fuerte por las entradas espectaculares, donde el kimono da paso a vestidos asimétricos con drapeados, brillos y piernas infinitas. El cuerpo de baile, muy fiel a nuestra Iris Chacón, con sus bodies…..Viva la coreografia sincronizada y Japón! A que te entran ganas de bailar?

We keep on obsessed with our sources of inspiration. One of these is female japanese duo Pink Lady who was a phenomenon in Japan and US years ago with hits and covers like this from Earth, Wind and Fire’s Boogie Wonderland. As you see, we still love the big entrances where the kimono turns into an asymmetric and draped dress, with glitters and endless legs. The dancers, very alike to our favourite Iris Chacón with the bodysuits….Viva the synchronized coreography and Viva Japan! Do you feel like dancing?

Iris Chacón es Grande. Hacer una entrada es algo muy importante. Ella sabe y la proclamo como icono de la moda. Pesadilla de Stella McCartney, tan amiga de los animales. Os presentamos este video que al menos no os dejará indiferentes. Disfrutad del body de charol que ya no se hacen con el arco tan favorecedor para las piernas.

Iron Fist (Puño de acero) con su nombre te lo digo todo. Ropa y accesorios con graffiti por todos lados, estética skate, street. Nuestros favoritos son estas botas, ríete tu de las UGG, estas desde luego son mas eco-punk. Nos gusta mucho más llena de calaveras o con estampado leopardo muy 80s. Por no hablarte del precio, solo 75 eurillos y están que vuela, oye. Para un look muy LA, gafa de piloto gigante  y pitillo de cuero a 40º.

Our favourite are these boots, nothing to do with UGG, These are way too eco-punk, we love the skulls or with a so 80s leopard print. The best of all is its price, 75 euros and they’re running out already. this is for a very LA look, with a huge aviator sunglasses and a leather hot skinny pants at 40º.

Primero perdonad el retraso de estos dias pero he estado en NY viendo algunas colecciones que os iré enseñando poco a poco a medida que el próximo verano se acerque; la verdad es que con lo que he visto, estoy impaciente para poder enseñarlo todo asap. Para retomar la semana, aqui os enseño un vestido de los diseñadores de PETER PILOTTO , una colección que representa de un modo sugerente el big bang, una explosión de color, impresiones de la lava de un volcán, de pieles de reptiles, manipulación digital de rayas…todo un puntazo para esta joven firma que presentó su coleccion en la London Fashion Week y que no solo son brillantes por sus estampados sino que tambien por sus plisados, drapeado y estructutas.

First, forgive me for the delay in writing back but I´ve been to NY to see new collections. I’ll show them as soon as the Summer gets closer but as far as I’ve seen, I’m extremely impatient to show them all to you. Here’s a quick look to start the week with, a dress from the PETER PILOTTO collection. This one displays inspirations from the big bang theory, lava from volcanoes in prints and digital manipulation of photos. They showed their collection at the London Fashion Week and not only the prints were amazing but their drapings and structures were simply beautiful.

Con este vestido mostramos nuestro amor por los animales. En la parte inferior se reune una explosión de plumas de colores en forma de flores cuyos estambres surgen en forma de cristales. La parte superior tiene todo un cuerpo drapeado y la parte de la falda a modo de jaula, para que ninguna pluma se escape, esta cubierta de tul (tan delicado que no se aprecia en la foto). Todo un efecto para cualquier cocktail,  un vestido digno de una mujer con estilo que debe tener mucho cuidado para que las abejas no se acerquen a las flores. Oscar es bien famoso por vestir a mujeres que todos conocemos en España, todas con un estilo único, pero con esta colección con bordado, tachuelas, plumas y mucha elaboración rompe con  los tópicos de la marca, y es que hay que ponerse al dia! Bocas abiertas garantizado.

We celebrate our love for animals with this dress. The lower part is a coloured feathers explosion in flower shapes whose centers are full of coloured crystals. The top is a draped body and the skirt is covered in tulle (so thin you can’t see it in the photo) causing a caged-style effect, so no feather escapes. This would be perfect for a cocktail, a dress for a stylish woman who has to be really careful with all bees around. Oscar is really well known for dressing classy women in Spain, all of them with a unique style, but this collection has embroideries all over, tassels, feathers and it’s beautifully crafted with a new look for the brand. Jaw dropping guaranteed.

Y es que somos el único punto de venta en España de la marca de las Mulleavy sisters, Kate y Laura. Rodarte es simplemente único y rimando fácilmente con su nombre es eso, casi arte, hecho a mano. Las creaciones de estas jóvenes diseñadoras para la nueva temporada han pasado de inspiración robótica/dominatrix a inspiración arquitectónica y a los colores piedra. Es maravilloso ver como ellas mismas tiñen los vestidos, creando piezas únicas, no hay dos modelos iguales. Son un relevo a Ghesquière, y un auténtico ejemplo de que la creatividad es posible.

El nombre de esta marca tiene un aire decadente de los 70s que, como veis, es muy fiel en su estilo. Afortunadamente aún es un secreto a voces entre los fashionistas más ávidos y totalmente un must-have en los armarios de celebrities.
