MASTERMIND JAPAN fue fundada por el diseñador japonés Masaaki Honma en 1997. Desde 2001 la marca comenzó su expansión en el merado extranjero con una distribución muy exclusiva, siendo Elite su único punto de venta en España. La nueva colección se llama Timeless por sus referencias clásicas a la cultura pop que nunca pasan de moda. Esto es lo que sucede a la marca de streetwear japonesa, nunca pasa de moda, es extremadamente exclusiva y comparte muy poco de si misma con el mundo. MASTERMIND JAPAN was founded in 1997 by clothing designer Masaaki Honma.
