He tenido el honor y la suerte de estar cerca de las últimas creaciones de ALEXANDER MCQUEEN, poder admirarlas, tocarlas y apreciar la elaboración artesanal del gran genio. Estas piezas estan consideradas Alta Costura y debo decir que se merecen tal categoría. Los bordados metálicos, los detalles cuidados y los estampados aunan la artesania de antaño con las nuevas técnicas. Parece premonitorio que el tema elegido sea el medievo, como se representaba la religión en aquella época, los cuados de El Bosco donde el cielo y el infierno era extremos que tenias que elegir. En los vestidos hay ángeles, en sus famosos pañuelos hay calaveras y en una camiseta como homenaje puedes leer ALEXANDER THE GREAT.

I’ve had the honour and luck of being close of ALEXANDER MCQUEEN’S latest creations, being able to tocuh them, admire and look carefully the handcrafted manufacture of the latest great designer. These pieces are considered to be Haute Couture and I must admit they totally deserve this category. The metallic embroideries, every detail and the prints gather the old fashiones techniques with the new ones. It seems a premonition but the leit motif was the dark side of the middle ages, as shown by religion. Paintings from El Bosco where heaven and hell are total extremes. There are angels in dresses, skulls in his already famours foulards and a t-shirt with the logo ALEXANDER THE GREAT

La triste noticia hoy es que Alexander McQueen ha sido encontrado muerto en su casa de Londres. Supuestamente se ha suicidado. Creo que ha sido uno de los mejores diseñadores desde Versace. Echaremos de menos su genio, su creatividad y sus fantásticos desfiles….R.I.P

Sad news today because Alexander McQueen was found dead at his London home this morning. It’s been said he’s comitted suicide. I think he’s been one of the greatest designers in the world since Versace. We’ll miss him, his genius, his creativity and his amazing fashion shows….R.I.P

El desfile de McQueen para la próxima primavera fue una experiencia única. No solo por que ibamos a formar parte de una experiencia audiovisual grabada y emitida en internet en la páginade Nick Knight en SHOWSTUDIO.COM sino por que ibamos a presenciar la colección mas imaginativa e impactante del diseñador británico. El show fue una sumersión en la naturaleza con medusas, serpientes, aves, y demás animales que se fundian en estampados caleidoscópicos en las modelos. Ellas eran criaturas de otro planeta, animales que se deslizaban en la pasarela gélida, a lo glaciar, sobre estos zapatos para los que no encuentro palabras para describir. Tuve la oportunidad de tocarlos, de apreciar como obras de artes en un museo. Botín Armadillo, Fotos de desfiles y bolso con estampado de serpiente, un pequeño ejemplo de esta maravilla

The Alexander McQueen fashion show for next Spring was a once in a lifetime experience. Not only because we took part in a audiovisual experience recorded and broadcasted in the internet in Nick Knight’s website SHOWSTUDIO.COM but because we were going to witness the most creative and shocking collection from the designer. This show was an summersion in nature with jelly fish, snakes, birds and more animales reflected in caleidoscopic prints. Models were otherworld creatures, animals sliding through the cold catwalk, glaciar-like  in this shoes. I don’t seem to find the right words to describe them. I had the chance to hold them in my hands, as a unique piece of art. Armadillo ankle boots, photo from the show and snake printed clutch are just a sample of how wonderful this was.

Este clutch de McQueen es lo que vulgarmente se conoce como un 2×1. Por que por un precio módico, te llevas este bolso con mitón incluido.
